On weekends Judith wakes up and walks out to breakfast on the deck. She loves how her family and friends congregate around the central kitchen, where they can easily connect to whoever is in the living room, deck and backyard. If they need a place to retreat, the front room has become a favourite place to curl up for a quiet chat or a comfortable place to work.

This is Val’s forever home. She wants to live here until her 90’s. So Ruth reconfigured her cute semi to include an ensuite and carer’s bedroom, adding value to her property. Ruth also created a large open kitchen, dining and living room where Val can easily chat with her guests and enjoy connecting to her garden.

Simon and Natalie’s wanted to go up and out – yet Council Codes meant they could not. So Ruth reworked their existing plan to give them the modern, open plan design they wanted. With a young family, adding a car space on site made life much easier, as did the large roof storage.
